14 weeks ago, we set out to write 14 songs. This week marks the culmination of 20 songwriters, musicians, and engineers collaborating to create an album without ever being in the same room. This session has introduced some new collaborators to the mix and, as a result, we’ve achieved a very eclectic lineup including some acoustic ballads, some rock anthems, a pop-country toe-tapper, a circus-infused dance fest, and a blistering bass-pumped instrumental.
This has been a great session for SOS… We made some great music, we gained some new friends, and we saw the birth of SOSstudio, an online business designed help emerging recording artists reach their full potential.
This is not the end of our free music; we will host a Summer Session every year as well as feature articles, interviews, and tutorials throughout the year helping fellow studio professionals find their sound.
